Pipeline Pigging Services

We are capable of supporting any client with the required resources and materials to perform required operations, duties, and obligations to complete the required scope. We are an independent, hands-on services, operations, engineering and inspection company with a heavy organisational focus on the requirements of the client.

Value Chain Technical Support

We provide support in the following areas of pipeline pigging and inspections and corrosion control and monitoring in offshore, land and swamp areas:

Routine Pigging | Intelligent Pigging | Gauge/Geometric Pigging | De-scaling Pigging | De-sanding | Provision of gel pigs and chemicals | Pig trap maintenance | Auxiliary pumping services | Valve servicing & minor repair | Maintenance painting | Water sampling & chemical treatment Sampling | Chemical injection | External corrosion control and maintenance

Midstream, Downstream

Selection of Inspection Methods

Review  the specific threats identified to select the appropriate inspection methods for each component or section of a pipeline system to address it

Gap Analysis

We can carry out a review of the facilities assessing for any and all factors that have either historically, currently or in future can cause delays or interruption to the set corrosion management program.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

We provide the client support in an uplift in efficiency and a reduction in breakdown deferrals therefore reversing a downward trend in pigging and related programs. This form of significant progress, and direction achieved as an outcome of the capability with turnarounds and anomalies elimination - i.e. determining the root cause of each failure and then fixing it so that it doesn’t occurs again.

Piggability Reports

When the client is not sure of the ability to pig a line, we carry out a piggability study to obtain theoretical verification that a tool can negotiate and traverse any pipeline feature (e.g. valves, tees, bends, and other restrictions that may be present in the pipeline system). The study results usually aid the pipeline owner and the operations team in finalizing both tool configuration and pigging disc designs.

Be-Spoke Pig Design

The aim of a pig design study is to review the effectiveness of a pig to complete certain requirements and review the pigging frequency currently employed in the pipeline system and therefore propose any required changes to the existing design and inspection / cleaning regime.

Pig Maintenance and Pig Traps

Our services includes: Pig cleaning, refurbishment & maintenance | Pig design and defect investigation | Pig container design | Production and maintenance pigging | Pumping & flushing services | Leak / service test support | Pre-commissioning pigging | Intelligent pigging program support (including pipeline profiling, pre-inspection cleaning) | Pipeline geometry surveys using multi-channel calliper tools
